Using the concept of „Social Order“ the authors analyse how understandings of contexts and self-understandings of intervening forces as well as their practices influenced the dynamic of local conflict and led to international repercussions. The intervention in Afghanistan can be seen as an outstanding case to study the change from liberal peace to policing. This change, as it seems currently, is concomitant with shifts in war strategies and international politics. Please find the article here.
