Professional Career

Susanne Schmeidl holds a Fachhochschuldiplom from the Evangelische Stiftungsfachhochschule für Sozialpädagogik. She conducted a year of field work in Mexico and graduated with honours. She holds a masters degree in Sociology from the Ohio State University. In 1995, she was awarded her PhD in Political Sociology. 

Collaboration with bicc:

She is collaborating with bicc in the project “Advice on Afghanistan to BMZ” (since 2022) and in the research project “Corruption, Clientelismm & Patronage in Afghanistan” (2024) for the Enquete Commission on Afghanistan of the German Bundestag.
