Within the context of a joint research project of bicc, the African Union (AU) and the UN Department of Peace Operations titled 'Regional Approaches to Armed Groups in the Sahel’, the AU commission is hosting a policy forum from 19-20 November 2024 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Amongst others, the event will raise awareness of the key research findings particularly policy recommendations emanating from the project. Additionally, two dissemination workshops will be organised, one in Abuja, Nigeria and one in N’Djamena, Chad (25-26 November).
