Regional training on physical security and stockpile management (PSSM) in Jaji, Nigeria
The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), with technical support from the Multinational Small Arms and Ammunition Group (MSAG) and financial support from the German Federal Foreign Office, and BICC conducted the second training of a multi-phase PSSM course for the ECOWAS region. This course, with 22 participants from military or police forces tasked with weapons and ammunition management from 14 of the 15 ECOWAS member states, took place at the Martin Luther Agwai International Leadership and Peacekeeping Centre (MLAILPKC). The participants acquired theoretical and practical knowledge of international guidelines and best practices in PSSM.
