Thorsten joined bicc as a Grants Manager in February 2024.

He holds a Diplom Wirtschaftsanglist degree, having graduated from the University of Kassel in 2001. During his studies, he spent an exchange semester at the University of Wisconsin Green Bay, Wisconsin (USA).

In his professional career, he has worked as a project manager at Nielsen Sports Germany for over 20 years, specialising in monitoring media rights in the sports and entertainment industry.
